Organizational structure
The Superior Courtroom, based in the Federal District of Mexico, is the highest permanent body of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judicial Branch (TEPJF, Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación, in Spanish) and is made up of seven judges elected by the Senate of the Republic, upon proposal of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, by two thirds of the members of the Senate or, by the Permanent Commission of the Congress of the Union.
